AGRICULTURAL LAND

The law AFTER the 4/11/16 by decision of the minister of interior has changed.

1. According to the new law in agricultural land only a building ( warehouse ) of up to 300m2 (100m2 with a height of 3m) can be built in any agricultural land that can consist of a bathroom / bedroom / kitchen and storage room permit can be obtained directly from the district administration office.

2. In some cases, the town planning authority can give you a permit to build a house up to the allowable building density of the land if you satisfy some criteria as below

· NOT to have any residential property register on your name or your family members

· Distance from the residential zone

· Public Road

· Services available

· etc

3. According to the law town planning authority is oblige to reply within 3 months.

NOTE: Any interested buyers are best to consult the town planning authorities and the district administration office before buying any agricultural land or even residential land . It is advised to get this in written for each case (please note this process takes time).
